What is the general class schedule for ASE?
On Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, instructors check kids into class from 3 to 3:10 to accommodate staggered dismissal times. Students should report to their class meeting rooms just before class time. All students dismissed from school prior to 2:55 p.m. (i.e., morning readers and kindergartners) must be supervised while on the Beach campus until their ASE classes begin.
Wednesday classes will begin at 1:55 pm to reflect the early school dismissal time. With the exception of kindergartners, students are expected to walk to their classes on their own. As with the end of regular school classes, ASE students will be released to the blacktop at the end of ASE class. Please remind your student to check in at Schoolmates if they are not being picked up after ASE classes.

Please notify the instructor directly if your child has a serious food allergy or other medical concerns. This information should also be entered into Homeroom when adding your child.
Do ASE classes has a behavioral policy?
In general, Beach ASE has the same student behavior expectations that the school has during the regular academic day. Disruptive behavior is expected to be resolved between parents, student, and instructor. Failing corrective action, students may be removed from class at the instructor's discretion (this is rare--the goal is to facilitate the student’s continued participation). Contact the Beach ASE coordinators if further mediation is required.
Are Beach ASE classes tax deductible?
Homeroom can provide receipts upon request but we cannot provide additional support or documentation towards either the deduction of Beach ASE classes against employer flexible savings accounts or the claiming of ASE payments as charitable donations.
